Our Policy:

Our goal at Steelheader.net is to offer a tasteful, conservative website to those who enjoy the American outdoors, and to those businesses  who serve these same clients.   As such, our policy is quite strict regarding which businesses we will allow to advertise on our site.  Contrary to most internet businesses, advertising space on this website is not intended to be our main source of revenue, but rather as a means of offsetting expenses involved in maintaining the online facilities. 

So that you can determine if you qualify as a potential advertiser, we have listed our criteria below:

 Your product or service must be related to the outdoors in some way.   If you are unsure whether or not your product or service meets this requirement, please e-mail sales@steelheader.net, and describe whatever it is you wish to advertise.  We will respond to each request promptly.

We will not allow advertising on our site by companies or individuals who are in direct competition to Steelheader.net.   We will review each potential advertiser's case and decide accordingly. 

 All advertisements will be reviewed by the administrators of this site prior to posting.  The administrators reserve the right to refuse any ad for any reason.  We will not bill you at all if your ad is refused, not even an administrative fee -- after all, fair is fair.     If you are not capable of producing a advertisement, Steelheader.net, offers graphics-editing  and other publishing services for  internet media.   Send e-mail to steelheader.net for details.

All first-time advertisers must pre-pay for the first advertising contract  prior to the start-date for the customer's ad to be placed on the site.  We  accept cash, money order, company check.    Minimum agreement term for advertising purposes is 90 days.  See rates chart below for more details on available advertising contract terms.  In the event the website (and therefore your ad) is not available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the term of the contract, due to technical difficulties on our end, we will offer two options: (A) extend the term of the contract by the amount of time your ad was inaccessible due to such problems.  This type of problem must be documented and must agree with the logs kept by our host,  in order to qualify.

Advertisers may NOT include the Steelheader.net , IP address or URL in any unsolicited e-mail or newsgroup post.  If we discover that an advertiser is spamming individuals or Usenet newsgroups with unsolicited e-mail or off-topic posts which reference this site or its owners in any way, the ad will be pulled immediately and the customer will receive no refund for any time unused, regardless of the amount of time remaining on the contract.

STANDARD Banner ADS, Secondary Pages :

Your ad can be placed on a specific secondary page for an additional fee of $ 25.00 per contract, regardless of term. We will try and place ads on a first come basis until ad space is filled.

If you wish to guarantee exclusive banner ad space for your ad(s) on a secondary page, multiply normal ad rate by 1.50 .   This will  not include the shared border ads which are Primary page advertisers , to use both available ad spaces on that page as you wish, within the limitations of the advertising contract.

Other creative advertising or site Logo sponsorships are available to meet your needs.  These will be based on a case by case advertising basis.
