| I'm a lifelong
fisherman, mostly for salmon and steelhead. I've always done things
myself, including tying flies/jigs and building spinners. Started off
small, and made them only for myself. Then family, which led to their
friends. And the Northwest River Fisherman was born. I'm mostly a fly
tyer by trade. But I do tie jigs as well. I don't keep any flies on
stock. I tie to order. This keeps my prices down, and my frustration
down too. LOL. I can tie quite a variety of flies for salmon and
steelhead except fully dressed atlantic salmon flies, but I'm slowly
getting to point I can tie those too. I only use top quality materials
and hooks on my flies. I don't skimp to make an extra profit. Speaking
of materials, I also sell fly tying materials. I can get quite a few
different vises and almost any material you could want (well, almost lol).
So, if there's anything you're looking for, let me know. I don't carry an
online catalog, but am very competitive to any shop out there. Just ask
and I can give you a quote on product (I mostly carry the Hareline Dubbin
brand, and a few others as well). If you don't see what you want in the
