Glue Balls came about from my experiment into making hot glue eggs for fly tying. I needed to dye the color of my glue for the right colored eggs. To do this I needed hot glue and color. I then rolled them on to straws or a punch bit and then put into water to harden before removing . As you can see it makes quite a wide array of shapes when done by hand and takes a little practice. The glue could be poured into molds to create specific shapes. Colors are easy to change but you will need to finish the pot of previous glue or mix up a new color in the pot you have going. The nice thing about the glue eggs is the translucent appearance and the fact they float. Only your imagination will stop you when you start creating the colors and shapes. Be careful not to burn yourself with the glue and follow all manufacturers recommendations for the products. If you don't like the way it turned out, just melt it into another lure shape.
