Fished again yesterday on the S. Santiam. Out of about a million guys and gals out on the river, I saw only 3 hook-ups, two fish landed, one of them was foul hooked in the tail. Talk about slooow! River looks to be in real great shape though, good color, clarity, etc. Can't figure why they were not on the bite. One lady I spoke with said it was the same story last weekend as well. Maybe too warm?
