Yo BG, I couldn't help the joke. As soon as I saw your post my smart remark popped into my head. Believe me I could have been the model for that drawing. While I have many friends that are "jedi" casters and some are THCI certified that I could get instruction from I also prefer to DIY.

As to our season, it is still to early to predict (at least for me) the size of our returns. Our numbers are below last years which were below the 10yr. average. Having said that I have learned not to second guess Mother Nature as she will always make me look crazy.

I will say that it is my believe that you won't find a better river then the Clearwater for swinging a waker in Idaho and maybe the Northwest. The normal drill here is floating lines and wakers or hairwings until after Thanksgiving.
