BG, I agree with Redshed, and I'd throw in the Grand Rhonde as well. The good news, if you base out of Lewiston, you can fish both rivers easily. The Rhonde is a relatively short drive from Lewiston, and the Clearwater flows into the Snake there. Both are great rivers and I think the Rhonde fish strike surface flies a bit more readily. Amazing scenerey on both rivers, lots of fish, I'm telling you you can't go wrong. If you get bored, drive up and hit the Salmon near Lucile. More awesome scnery, and a great place to swing wets like skunks, purple perils, and articulated leeches. Might get a riser up there too. I recommend the last part of October for all of the above, but that's my preference only...
