Crankbait crappie bite is on.

Here's one of the crappie I caught Friday trolling crankbaits in Beaver Lake. Caught it and several others on a Rapala TD7. Also caught some using Bandit 300's. These fish have finished spawning and are out on main lake flats roaming around feeding on shad. Trolling crankbaits is a great way to find and catch them.

Damn, got my hopes up, then I realized your in Ark. Miss those overnight tillas when you put the green lights out and have a blast pulling up those bigguns. I love to fish, but I generally don't eat fish, except for crappie. I think I have about two bags of them left that I dropped dry ice on and brung them out here to the great NW from Texas. Good Looking fish.

We used to use the tiny rebel deep divers in TN flatlined way back.

I think any small crankbait that has good action at a slow speed and can get down to the right depth will work when trolled for crappie.
