Willamette river steelhead report.

We fished in the Meldrum Bar area for steelhead yesterday and only saw a couple or rods go down. My guess is that the water is still pretty cold and needs to warm up a bit before the bite turns on. We tried back trolling with Luhr Jensen hotshots and diver & bait (sandshrimp)

99, I agree that the water needs to warm up a bit. We are still able to dredge up a few on the JD, but will get better with warmer water. Any reports on the Oregon board are greatly appreciated. THANKS!
