Whatever you do don't use anything luv2fish says cuzz he is truly a bed wetter. He did pickle some baby carrots however that where damn good finger food. He also made a Clam digger on saturday that is without a doubt the best I've ever had including asparagus he pickled. But he is still a bed wetter...

Classic!! That guy in front of the bus is a stud!! No helmet, no coloring book, no drool. He must be the driver waiting for Southfork to put his dyper back on before catching the short bus to school.

Here ya go Gary. From left to right......

sweet onion, sliced peppers (3 different types), garlic, and green beans

sweet onion, asparagus, peppers, garlic

sweet onion, baby carrots, snap peas, garlic, peppers

same as above but added broccoli

For the pickling I used 2 parts white vinegar to one part water. Add any spices you want and if you want them hot go to Albertson's or Safeway and get a couple Habenero (spelling) peppers. They are those little orange round peppers and they are flaming hot. I cut them in half and for gawds sake wash your hands after handling them. You can also add any hot sauces you wish. The longer they sit the better they are.

Luv2fish did some asparagus two weeks ago and it tasted great in his world famous Luv Digger.........

I've always been a fan of pickled things and never knew how easy it was. Have you ever priced a tiny jar of pickled asparagus at the store

The two jars on the right is just a bag of mixed veggy's from Albertsons. Those four jars cost under ten bucks to make. I was lucky enough to score a huge box of kerr jars from Luv2fish so the pantry is going to get stocked.

If you like to cook and hang around people like John and Dean your in trouble. I can cook but not like these two. But I also like to eat so it all works out in the long run.

If you have 5 extra pounds let me know. There is nothing like the home grown real deal! I'll drive to get them! Being from Idaho I always get [**whoops**] being from the tator state but this is coming from those that buy them from a box store.

Maybe I need to come get some Brady... NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING BEATS HOME GROWN!

Here's the latest pickled veggies. My first batch of eggs where hot so I calmed it down a bit so you can enjoy one. They where good and hot but I like to be able not to feel the after effect of eating one of these. The asparagus and greens beans where off the chart! Now is the time of year to do this since it's plentiful.. I blanched this batch and for the asparagus this is the thing to do. I used all the stalk and it's still crisp and wasn't stringy. Green beans lost color but both these veggies had no problem absorbing the flavor I added.

Bush beans should be ready in 45 days. You have your choice of Yellow wax, purple, spotted dragon, green and or Romano.

A mixture of beans, carrots, cauliflower, peppers, cabbage, radish and onions should be a room clearer. I got orange, purple, and red carrots plus some daikon radishes.
