Hmm... 20 hours later and still no info  You aren't just stringing us along are you? I know where there are a ton of butters but was told you can only keep sreamers there  I was digging just as many if not more butters too.

Bux the Butters in your neck of the woods tend to run red hot with PSP nearly all year. The ones I know about have never seen a PSP bloom. Savor the wait.
Any good Butter clam recipes out there?

You mention high PSP in certain areas. This probably covers a zipper a Sekiu local told me about. Never been there but one of these Septembers I was going to try it out. I wonder how up to date the hot line number is for this area.
Geo's are the bomb. Are there ducks on the straits?

The psp hotline is updated as fast as they get the test info. There are quite a few ducks out on the straits.

Not quite time yet....one clue..... the spot is on Hood Canal. Bonus is that you could launch a car topper or canoe there and go out and get your limits of Dungies in less than 50 feet of water. Pretty good oysters and steamers also.

I know of one place loaded with clams and oysters up there but it's not hardly a zipper. Won't say just in case by chance it's the place Gooose is thinking. Odds are probly not. This is on all the maps and the state stocks the heck out of it.

Ahhh the final zipper info on this baby.....it's the WDFW beach access just to the north of Triton Cove State Park boat launch. You'll need a minus one foot tide or better to get into the best producing ground. From the blocked off boat ramp march straight to the waters edge....you'll see a red fiberglass post sticking up on a slight gravel berm. Loaded with Butters and Native littlenecks. Enjoy!
BTW crabbing is dang good just offshore in shallow water.
