I don't see a toy box in the picture? Millie has a full toy box and knows it's OK to destroy anything of hers when she feels the need.

but seriously, you should consider the kong toys and other forms of entertainment for her- she is destructive from boredom
my monster Kodi was very destructive at first also, but once he got a few newspaper thrashings he figured out what was ok to chew and what wasn't

I was at Southforks house last weekend. Let me tell you Trouble has no shortatge of toys. I brought her one of those filled bones, and she worked that over for the first day I was there (a gift from Mrs. Mojo). You can see it in the first picture, in the right side of the mess. I agree she is trashing things out of boredome. I think Southfork would go broke bringing her a new toy every day though.

She already did . That and the table next to the easy chair look like a beaver has been after the lower 1/4 of both. The bear now has 3 toes instead of 10. The table looks like a rough accumulation of toothpicks, standing in loose formation.

Yep the bear is missing some toes but with the bad things she is showing promise X2. She follows me like a shadow and thou I keep an eye on her she doesn't stray far when I don't. Denali took her for a day and she ran with his brute labs and I think this made a huge difference. A young pup learning from a couple of veterans will shorten the learning curve for sure. I'm working on a place that's pretty much a country setting and she can run all she wants.
All said and done this damn dog brings a big shelter to a house that has been poured on as of late. I think this is a small price to pay considering

Here's another one. I had to call the power/gas company to pay my bill. After explaining to the lady that I received my bill but my dog ate it she began to laugh hysterically. I'm pretty sure she has heard her share of excuses but this one is the honest to gods truth. I made the mistake of telling her that after I raked it up I still couldn't find the dollar amount I owe she lost it. A simple 2 minute conversation turned into a 20 minute one because of the humor she found in it.
Obviously this lady has never owned a lab or raked her living room.

Sky you sound like the power company lady. Yes she'll sit for just about anything eatable or not. Here is one of her trying to figure out my lazy-boy. The collar is from Orvis and it's the 3M reflective type. Bad ass collar and well worth the money. Came with her name and my number printed in the collar.
This is what I found today. It's blury but it's a (or once was) Keystone light can. You people are worried about my carved bear statues toes... Hell I'm starting to worry about my major appliances.

I couldn't see any but it's kinda of hard with her bouncing off the walls. After she ate the light bulb with no ill effects it doesn't bother me much anymore.

Brady please don't classify Trouble in the same catagory as the Droolers. She not only has a better posture but when she breaks wind it scares her. When a Drooler farts they lift there leg and apply pressure making sure everybody on the river knows where it originated from. It's kinda like a Grizzy clawing a tree to mark it's territory.

Doggy day care  Are you [**whoops**] ing people kidding me? I was thinking more like a 1/2" logging chain tied to a concrete truck
I came home today to find out that my TV tray was attacked by a 60 lb yellow termite 
I'm seriously thinking about a long range cattle prod here!
Any animal that can eat tin foil, beer cans, and 75 watt light bulbs has something wrong with them. AND don't say it's the owner. This animal is possessed to the highest degree

Trouble is a great dog believe it or not. My kids love her! We had to put our lab down today....toughest thing I've ever had to do. Lost my first child. She will be missed.

It works, but also restricts a dog's ability to naturally alter internal temperature (panting) and one warm day you may come home to  dog.
Many better options than a muzzle if you aren't home, I think your loggin chain idea might work. I use a vinyl coated cable to secure my monster, but he's not as big as Termite Girl. The chewed thru leg of the table was

What luv2fish isn't telling you is that his dog was a 12 year old female yellow lab. Hogan was my friend and was the main reason I bought Trouble. John's family was pretty much the first to see Trouble when she was a very young pup. Talk about the young and the old. If the hacker didn't blow the pictures I would show you one of them.

It's amazing how you can become so attached to an animal that eats lets say two knife handles from a set your friends just gave you. I knew putting them on the counter was a bad idea but noooooo again I didn't listen to my yellow terrorist instincts!
If she survives 1 to 2 more years without me killing her, I'm hoping she will calm down and be just like Hogan.

L2F I know, it's been 6 months and I'm still hurting after lossing my 16year old Shorthair Cas.
