You fellow divers out there, what are your favorite area(s) to go hunt for lingcod, in your neck of the woods? Mine isn't the best area, but it is the closest for a quick hunt, just off the logs in the harbor. Here fishy fishy

You need to take a certification course (class), which very in price and agency. They usually make you furnish what is called your personal gear. That is snorkel, fins, mask, booties, and gloves. The rest of he gear should be furnished by the instructing business including books.

Mine used to be some great spots in the Hood Canal. Thats history although the Lings are still there getting bigger!
Now I do Possession Point for Lings. Love that topography down there and a few Lings hanging around there.

Used to live in Victoria and we'd dive Becher Bay, and Beechey Head. Lots of current there, so you really needed to pay attention to your drift.
