Egg Lake (7 acres): This lake is located 1/2 mile west of Sportsman's Lake on the northeast end of San Juan Island. Follow Roche Harbor Rd to Egg lake rd. There is a WDFW access on the west side. It is limited parking and a very small gravel launch. Bank and dock access is excellent.
Species include largemouth bass and rainbow trout, with decent rainbow fishing in April and May, and bass throughout the summer, the depth is up to 17 feet. At this time it is a year round lake
(editors note, can be some awesome chironomid fishing)
