Beaver Lake (Skagit)
      #108186 - 04/12/04 09:40 PM

Beaver Lake (73 acres) it has a maximum depth of only about 10 feet.
Fish species include largemouth bass, black crappie, yellow perch, and a few cutthroat trout. excellent bass habitat in this lake includes overhanging brush and trees and lots of pads, it is an all natural shoreline.
There is a concrete pit toilet on the WDFW access site. It is a gravel ramp with decent parking and turnarounds.

East from Mt Vernon on SR 538 to end, left on SR9 approx. 3 miles to town of Clear Lake, Right on Beaver lake rd. approx. 1.5 miles on the left (east)

(editors note, can be some excellent duck hunting)
