Cain Lake (72 acres): This lake approximately 9 miles southeast of Bellingham has a public access and boat launch at the south end. Fishing should be excellent for rainbow trout, largemouth bass and yellow perch. It offers a gravel launch and parking for about 4-5 vehicles w/trailors. Directions, from I-5 exit 240 go east, cross old hwy 99, East on Alger-Cain lake Rd. 3mi. Left on Alder (Camp 1 Rd) WDFW Access on right .5 mi.
The lake has developement on most of the shore but does offer some natural vegation. Depths range up to 60 feet.
