Lake Sixteen 5/1, Lake Ki 5/2
      #110152 - 05/02/04 10:06 PM

My dad and I fished Sixteen Saturday evening from 5 until dark, mostly trolling flies. We each landed a handfull and missed a bunch more. Near dark the fish were popping the surface near the lilly pads and we had several hookups casting to the shore and stripping leeches in the dark. All the takes were very subtle. I increased my success by watching my flyline and pulling back as soon as it twitched instead of waiting to feel the fish. All were 10-11". The lake was very crowded.
I fished Lake Ki tonight (Sunday) from 6 until dark, again trolling flies. Like last night, the takes were very subtle. Landed 4 or 5 and lost another half dozen. Most were 10-11" with one that was close to 14.

This can't be healthy. All this fishing is really messing with my head.
