I have been considering a buffalo meat hunt but don't really want to go to the Dakotas or western Wyoming. I know there are some closer ranches to the Pacific NW. I am seriously not interested in a trophy nor $1000 plus for a large bag of meat. Does anyone have information?

on marlin 35 remmington scout it is good up to 250yrds 
a nice round, I would have went black powder but it was prety wet. Next year going for another one it is a good meat trip, My wife is going to take the next one. Might even get two.

It was the Medicine Lodge Ranch their price was $1000 don't know why they went up to $2000. I called them and he's going to see whats going on. If that is the new price we are going to go to Cowboy heaven their both in Montana. Cowboy Heaven is $800-900. These are meat cow trips.
