When I go to visit My Cuz In Petersburg I normaly take the Ferry http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/. Every time I have been there the fishing has been great!! http://www.alaskasporthaven.com/Accomodations/accomodations.html Take your rain gear !!!!

That looks like a good way to get fish back home if you have lots. Looks fairly spendy just for a boat ride 600 round trip before vehichle. Am I reading that price chart wrong?

That the price, Its pretty spendy, but you cant beat the sceanery. I havent fished the southeast much but sitka has monster halibut.
