went out today with my boss lincod fishin and shrimpin. we did very well, as soon as my bosses jig hit bottom fish-on. it was slower for me i had to jig 3 times  . his was to small and mine was a rock cod. i have never caught one b4 but it was huge he said it was one of the biggest he had ever seen. id estamate it at bout 6#s  a few drifts later i hit a 36" ling cod and a nice cabazon gosh dang they are ugly. shrimpin we got 3 1/2 limits with 4 pots in one set. on the way home i stopped by OBDOC'S house and traded a springer fillet for some crab. so i will be eating real good come sunday afternoon. FISHON

We don't do fillets. We cut fish in 1" cubes. Bring a quart of 7-up orsprite to a boil. Drop in the chunks and boil for a few minutes. Serve with seasoned, melted butter.

Glad too help, most of em ya coulda just grabbed anyways, them dinky things
well okay the springer that fell for a jig needed a hand...and you had enough problems just getting it close to shore, my grandma could have brought that fish in quicker with sewing thread
