Fresh springers are to be had on the coast. As well as summer steelhead. I fished the Nestucca yesterday with 3 other guys. We ended up landing 2 Springers and a Chrome summer run. I saw some other Salmon and Steelhead landed by other guys as well.
Besides the Nestucca, the Siletz is another good river to target summer Steelhead.........
Go get em!!!

Good stuff. I want to take a couple days off and challange the coastal runs, but just need to find the time with a busy work schedule.

Slow,
There is lots of bank access on the Siletz on the weekends. The Gorge road is closed Monday through Friday. Anywhere from the deadline down to Moonshine park should hold lots of Summer runs now.
Look up Moonshine Park in Lincoln County to get directions to the river. Once you get to Moonshine follow the Gravel road on up the river and fish the good looking spots.

Thanks for the info Willie. I might have to make a run up there Sunday if everything falls into place. Hopefully someday I can return the favor.
