Wow!

How do those big red sided kings eat? I've always been a "if it ain't chrome, it don't go home" type of guy. But just about all the fish you see coming out of the Alaskan rivers are pretty colored up by my standards. Do they color prematurely and eat good or what?

How much did that fish weigh?

76lbs on the button. They eat just fine, this is actually a brighter fish. Though we did catch more that were chrome as it gets. This one is only about 17 miles from the salt.

That was above sunken island. I landed one bigger above the bridge but was in the slot limit. I don't guide up there just fish for fun with Bo Ansel. Lukey just makes me run the boat while he fishes.
