I haven't seen any Columbia updates. My Portland buddy and I are planning to launch at Rainier and fish Cowlitz mouth neXt week. I live in Seattle area. My buddy sez he heard its pretty hard to get a salmon or steelie with a fin clip.
Any tips? Thanks.

We went 1/2 on clips last week. But the problem was we were 2/7 on hookups vs landings! I did get a good look at the one Nookie I had on and he woulda had to swim aways anyhow. It's definately worth going. Lower river reports (Cathlamet area) have lots and lots of steel still to come.
