Lets have a nice detailed report this time with pictures, flys used, runs fished, methods, how many times you fell in etc... Not the usual went 1/2 and thats it. This blue ribbon river deserves better reports than that. Looking forward to the report.

"...how many times you fell in."

Twice .. well .. three times if you want to consider 'sitting down.' Water was 'warm as toast' (ergo the slow fishing, save for first/last light) and, with the exception of the first morning, wet wading all the way.

Waders were a gross waste of time. Personal opinion here only .. but until southern Oregon gets out of the 90+ temps during the day .. you'll fish the Umpqua for the beauty of it all ..

Hal, took 4 or 5 readings over the 8 days and the 'low' temp at 6am one morning was 63 degrees. Highest was 68 point something about 7 pm.
