Nice article of the retired Howard Tanner who was instrumental in guiding the stocking of Lake Michigan and Huron for the state of Michigan. Now a brook trout fisherman. Nice !
A threaded minnow/shiner fished for river trout is a killing method old timers used to use, don't see it used to much anymore, may have to give it a try, on the fly rod like Mr. Tanner does. Howard Tanner
