Spring has 'sprung,' Fall has fell and it's colder than H.ll
      #133098 - 09/02/04 04:20 PM

Lordie, another week of 'cool weather?' Actually a good thing as it will cool down the water and pull the fish up into the upper Rogue.

But?! 44.5 degrees at 6:30am this morning and at 4:30 this afternoon it's 'heated up' to all of 68. Jeeze, I've got a flannel long sleeve shirt on inside the house and my butt is FREEZING.

And Hal, don't tell me I'm going soft.

I know how you feel. Was going to do some fishing today but over night the rains came and raised the place I was going to fish about a foot and a half. Well in the summer time I just wear shorts and my wading boots(felt and studs). Well I was at one of the local access spots and I had to check how cold the water was so I stepped in. Was wearing sandals. Needless to say I didn't stick around. It was still raining and the water was coming up and the temp was about 60 degrees, not the water the air.

Ah, but you know what? I'm loving it. This is my kind of weather. I hate the heat and sun. So yup, agree with Fred, it's a good thing. Now, just hope it keeps up so we have water in the rivers this fall.

Ok Freddie. What with this Jimmie crap. You just got to me I hate that name with a passion. You can call me old man, sh!t head, James,Jim. Hell you can call me anything except that name. I only let on person call me that and that was my mother,my she rest in peace.

But all that over with I was gonna fish as it is still summer but with a little chill in the air. But good news is on the way. After Labor day it is supposed to warm up again. I hope,I hope.

Good to know that Jimmie gets Jim's goat. LOL

In high 80s hot and very humid in Chicago, cool down in a few days into the low 70s.
