the sandy river silvers are coming up in september and i will be fishing them when it opens sep.15 I usually fish at the cedar creek area 4 these pigs and this will be my second year fishing for these fish on the sandy. the thing that bothers me is how the sandy is a glacier river and it get very white from silt with at tops 1 1/2-2ft of visibilty. had some luck last year but alot of fish were snaged down there(of course they were realesd) I was wondering about any tips about getting these getting these fish to bite in these hard conditions.

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs. I like to run eggs for these fish. I really love the Sandy silver run, but in the past few years this place has turned into a real zoo. Spinners will also work if slinging blades is more your game. Good luck.
