Well, fishing in Talkeetna was not that great. I caught to ok sized rainbows but nothing to brag about. Pretty much spent my time getting those nasty silvers off the line.
The best part of the day was when a few guys on a boat came down the river to where I was with their nice catch. A big bull moose with about a 60 inch rack. It was great. And to top it all off, it was the guys first moose. Come to find out they landed two bulls in 3 days. Not bad. Season is over Sept 20th. All good things come to and end too soon around here......
