Check it out this weekend on TV will see some great pictures of my home water - Lake Michigan. A very good salmon and steelhead river goes right through the Kohler Golf Resort. It has four courses of which Whistling Strait is the newest. Yes you can combine a world class golf vacation and fly fishing at this location. Go through the hole by hole pictures. Its $ 280 to play this course. Might be getting a bunch of fellows to go up there this fall its 3 hours from Chicago.

Yes its real difficult, a friend mine here at work was there all 4 days last week. Its a bear, lots of nice photos of my home lake michigan last weekend she was gentle though, all weekend no wind or major storms to rile her up, then she gets real wicked. 1200 ship wrecks on her to date.
Its $ 280 for a round which does not include the caddy which you must have on Whistling Straits, you cannot walk it and carry or cart it on your own. So you are looking at a $ 350 day probably plus all the balls you are going to lose. I know a couple of fellows that played it this year but our vendors paid for their rounds. They all said its a beauty.
Some good salmon and steelhead rivers right around there too so you could combine golf with fishing very easily if you want warmwater musky, bass, walleye etc its also good around there.
Good Major as long as Tiger did not win it, was pulling for Lefty myself.
