on his rod lengths ? Is this the perfect engineered spey rod length or something ?
Spey Rod - Krista
Those 12 inch trout, bass, sunfish etc must be fine sport on that 21 foot 3 inch spey rod fellows !
I must be missing something here right spey masters ?

Hey BG, I hope you guys are not going to start ragging on poor old Phillip again. He'll be getting his kilt in a knot. A lot of rod designers use rod lengths that aren't in even feet. Something about a certain length preforming a certain way with the grain load the maker had in mind. Believe me Nobuo knows what he is doing and some of the CND rods are 13'8", 14'4", 13'4", 14'3", 15'2", 15'6", and 16'7".

No I just like to check My. Kristas site every 6 months or so to see what is new. Does not look much is. Why isn't he into the light trout spey rods thats the primary fishing down there in Maryland, Virginia, and South PA.
Thanks for the input on the rod lengths, it appeared he said there was some historical spey rod design about the extra 3 inch length.

Yeah - they converted to "metric" years ago, and that makes it tough on us older guys. Fortunately, with a scientific background, I was taught both English and metric in school and used both interchangeably in my professional career. I also remember most of the conversion factors to go back and forth between the two. But I still call "Celsius" by the older term of "Centigrade", "micrometer" as "micron", etc.

The red wine seemed to have spoilt my built in calculater.
After casting 60' Ian then cast over 60 yds, but you lot were to impatient to wait.
Sorry.

LOL Bob. They tried to teach us metric when I was in school. They just gave up after awhile. So never got it down like I wish I would've.

Hummmmm. Was thinking about the 'title' to this thread. Maybe you should send your question into one of the 'ladies magazines?'
