Floating down the Chehalis today we came upon a nice spike with 4" horns. About 40 yards broadside. He gave us a nice show, rubbing on an alder as we went by. The front seaters had no deer tags, and my ML season doesn't start for a few weeks. Would have been a chip shot. Hopefully he is there in a few weeks. Now I gotta bring two guns.

That was a neat little show he put on. Makes me wish I carried a camcorder.
