Spey Clinic
If any one attends give us a report on any new techniques or gear etc. Hey Fred I thought you were going to get to know the Santiam Spey Casting club ?

"It's a leverage with a fulcrum in the upper hand," Klemin said. "The bottom hand's the driver."
Ah an undercaster rather than a true speycaster. A true speycaster uses the bottom hand as the fulcrum with the top hand being the driver.

Malcolm, well I don't know what I am and maybe I never want to know, as long as I can manage an effective cast for the water being fished.
Here is a question for you.
In the european spey casting competitions are both casting distance and style rated by the judges ? To have a true winner one would think that both must be judged.

No pure distance. No style marks at all.

So like the olympic discus, javelin, and shot put competitions, pure distance.
