I did again yesterday. Four of them could not resist several nymphs, nothing on swung tubes or popsicles though. There are fish in the rivers but every one is complaining about the low numbers to date. Locals that fish every day say it has been very slow.

But there are fish around in all creeks and rivers so get out and fish.

Man am I sore today nine hours straight of that 14 foot 9 weight spey will do that to you, but I love every minute of it.

Good luck to all and have a great holiday weekend.

BG

If you are casting proper you will feel no pain, that is the beauty of a 2-hander.

Only time I hurt was when I was learning how to cast.

Are you concerned with eating fish from Lk Mich? I read an article regarding a toxin-I think it was a cleaning solvent-cant find the article to refer too-but it stated it has become very dangerous to children and women that are preg. What are companies doing to pollute like that? Was just curious.

I have not eaten one since 1984 from the GLs. 99% are released the other 1% given to another angler that may want one that day.
