I fished the river twice this week. I didnt even get as much as a long stare from a steelhead. I fished the river high up on Wed evening and we pounded the lower river yesterday. I did stick a nasty old chinook yesterday, Im glad the hook didnt stick because I didnt want to touch that fish.
There are a few fish being caught daily by the die hards, not a lot but a couple a day. Nothing to get excited about.
Some of the S. coast rivers are on fire right now according to some of the reports Ive gotten the last couple days. Looks I may need to make a road trip soon.
