Chetco/Smith Rivers

Both have LOTS of freash fish ... looks like this years runs may be at the top of the record charts. Water in both rivers remains low and clear and PERFECT for flyrod users.

Interesting thing about the Chetco is most of the guides are really pounding the 'frog water' sections of the river. Steelhead 'usually' prefer faster water, tail outs, etc., but not this year.

Go figure??
