Can't make it this weekend, I'll be on the Sea Angel next Sunday, though.

I'm headed out on the maiden voyage of the new, bigger 50' Delta, Sea Angel, red and white, on Sunday. A salmon/bottom fish combo. Might be a long day on the water, but I'm looking forward to being one of the first folks to catch a fish on Brian's new boat.

Brian's dad, Paul, is running the old Sea Angel, the 42' blue and white Delta, that has been renamed the Pescatore.

Brian's brother, Robert, is deckhand for the Sea Angel this year.

Good luck Brian. I'm still waiting around to pick up my new boat next Thursday, then spend a few days outfiting it. First trip Sekiu week of 7/10 and then Tillamook Bay (outside) week of 7/24.

The ocen was slow for the Sharter boats, with most bost landing one or two, and the Pescatore landing 5. We got one 18 pound hen, not mine. Thankfully we headed out for bottom fish before salmon, so we brought home plenty of fish. Dang that 50' Delta is fast.

Had another report from a friend of mine who has a 6 man charter. He went for fun today, 2 of them had 4 Kings, kept two, relaesed two and finally did find 1 clipped coho. Said it was BLEAK!

Switched to a combination salmon/bottomfish trip with Kevin on the Gold Rush for Sunday. Hope they've found a buncha salmon by then.
