Saw a guy walking out of the hole right below the dam at lucky peak with two trout that must have gone 6 lbs. Anyone ever fish here or have any information?

He probably works at the dam, or knows somebody. I've tried to fish there before many times and got kicked out every time. There are some huge fish in there, no question. There's always huge trout directly beneath dams. If you can cast about 50 yards you can get it in the slot from down by the corner, but it's a snag fest.

Well I went down there and gave it a try, I got to fish for about 1/2 hour before I got kicked out and ended up catching one rainbow that was about 15 inches. The guy that kicked me out was pretty p/o so I left as quickly as possible.

He's probably sick of kicking people out.

It's a homeland security issue. Huge reservoir located just upstream from the largest metropolitan area in the state. The don't want someone putting a bomb there and washing Boise off the map. Yes there are big fish there, but there are easier places to get big fish, and you won't have to worry about a trespassing citation.
