Upgrade to my Sledhauler... new
      #197149 - 07/24/05 05:49 PM

This weekend I threw a few upgrades on my sled hauler. First I traded out my 1999 5.4L Triton V-8 for a 2005 6.0L Powerstroke. Then I traded my 1999 5 speed manual for a 2005 Torque Shift tranny. I traded out the frame and body metal on my 1999 F-250 Superduty for a snappier model as well...

Here it is with the sled hooked up and ready to roll...

It pulled Rattlesnake Grade with the sled behind it at 65 mph without downshifting! Used to row the old Superduty up it with the stick at 35 mph. This thing is loaded, and it is the shizzle! I got about 10 grand knocked off the price by taking advantage of the Ford Family plan.

I've got the same rig mojo and it pulls the bubba barge like its not there, they are great rigs! Not being the mechanical type...I owe most of my decision making to Caveman, he aint the real talkative type buy ya better have your ears screwed on when he does!

The Powerstrokes are impressive trucks but you have to admit it's pretty damn funny

If you want to tint those front windows Justin (funfisher71) will give you a hellva deal.

Actually they are tinted as well, just not as dark. Yep BRUN-WILLIES joke cracked me up too. I can take it. He's just jealous because he had to settle for a Dodge.

Dean that's an understatement. It's a SuperDuty nice ride Now he has a very nice truck that can easily pull a very nice Tricker trailer that carries what I've deamed "THE VETERAN". I wonder if Mojo ever gets tired of hearing "Now that's a fishing boat!"

SWEET setup Joe

Just makes me smile. Actually when we pulled back in to the ramp this weekend, three different people said "Now there's a fishing boat..." Southfork kept chuckleing under his breath.

The barge looks good behind such a sweet looking beast. Now I gotta spruce up thge sled.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I love it so far.
