It's a new rule this week down at Westport but now Rockfish are prohibited to be onboard your vessel outside of the 30 fathom curve. WDF&W website has all the coordinates, it's a BIG list. This means even if you are outside the line and catch a Rockfish, you must let him go. It also means if you are fishing for both Salmon and Rockfish, you must fish Salmon before heading inside to catch Rockfish, if you get back out to deep water and have Rockfish aboard(even if dead and iced) it's a BIG ticket.

I would expect to see these type closures happening every year and likely earlier in the year.

Geeze guys, can't a guy stay up and drink beer all night, since when was that a reason to be banished, whats happened to u guys, are u sick? I mean, why else would i be up, its 5 o clock somewhere and was beer thirty to me, figured i'd pull an all nighter, till i had too many and was forced to get some sleep!!!
