Real nice fish. We just had a 22 lb Brown win the big fish contest for $1000.00 in the anual Brew City Tourny. What a fatty it was.

Yeah - similar to the one I caught 2 years ago.... but mine was also a male, in bright spawning colors, and caught in a Lake Ontario trib, on a 6-weight fly rod and an egg-sucking leech pattern (also called "the lawyer fly")!

That brown trout you caught has nice coloration and markings to it. Just about all those that we've caught along the Milwaukee lakefront are more silver, which I noticed in a DNR publication was supposedly more common for them in the big lake. Here are a couple I tagged on a past trip to visit family. These were caught from shore on shiners under a float.

Nice one. Here is a pic of one I got this past May centrepinning alwives off from an Indiana pier. Measurements were 34 1/2 by 25 and weighed just over 21lbs.
Here is another beauty that I caught and released on holloween fishing steelhead on the Betsie River in NW MI. This was a beautiful fish, the spots were amazing. I did not get a measurement of this fish.

I got that brown on a 3 egg bag floatfishing. 
Just got back from the PM yesterday and it was pretty good. We got all our fish floating skein and with cranks. The fish should be pretty well spread out by now, we seen a ton coming through the lower end.
