I am heading down to the Wilsonville area on Labor day and was hoping to get out somewhere....anyone up for meeting and showing me a couple spots down your way?

I wish I could help you, but I'm moving. I'd rather be fishing. I see the hoglines are in full force in the Columbia, near PDX. Hope one of the few oregonians on this board can help you. Also, pass on the all the secret spots when you are limited out.

Might have to do it the old fashioned way and just drive until I find cars.....thinking about the Clakamas...

Well, I've banked from the Carver boat launch park (didn't catch anything, but I'm sure it was my fault ), and I've heard that below the River Mill Damn, that backs up Estacada Lake, is supposed to be good too. Hope this helps...and hope you get something. Enjoy.

Lots of good water in the Clac; even right off of the 205 area. Another one to consider would be the Sandy. Check with 'flyfishusa' in Welches, Oregon.

If 'it swims' they know about it.

Keep us posted on the Portland area rivers. Father in Law is moving to SW Portland ... love the guy .. so would have TWO good reasons to drive up from Ashland.
