With the summer Fraser sockeye/spring mayhem behind us we can now look forward to coho season on the Chehalis and the Chilliwack/Vedder(and its own mayhem)We recieved a good dose of rain on Sept 29 that brought up the rivers and got the fish moving. The Chehalis came down quickly with small #s of fish trickling in.Lost 2 crispy chromers of about 7#.The Chedder is dropping and clearing more slowly allowing for better fish travel. The coho seem to be hard to find so far,but the white springs are not.On Sun. was into two feisty jack-springs,one larger one and even managed a beautiful dolly of about 2#.More rain is forcast for the last half of the week so fishing should continue to improve.
