Your showing us these beautiful UK patterns and I am posting my worm patterns over on their site and some guys are doing them. LOL

Ugly flys are in forget the pretty flys those are for the fisherman NOT the fish !

No longer a traditionlist I gave up on those flys a few years back now its big and ugly flys for me that move.

do you know what a bfu is? big f ugly, been close friends with muskegon guide that developed and perfected thses flies, this guide did not write a book either his initials are kf.

I know who KF is and what a BFU means. I doubt if Bobk does though ?

And yes I know what a traditionlist is back in the early 90s I said thats all I will fish for steelhead and then my take and catch rates when way down, I mean really down. Then I became a nontraditionlist AGAIN and have not looked back since. LOL

kf started working on the bfu's back in the 80's i was lucky enough to know him back then and be privy to his secret weapons.

kf is the man on the mo' has boated more steel than any other (gasp even ms)on that river.

he is a personal friend of mine and his expertise is highly valued by all who really know the true way of michigan steel.

More than MS thats impressive. Have to get up to the Mo more maybe next year now that son is out of sports (football,track,etc) I think well one more track season in the spring it looks like.

Got some more ideas from the KF patterns, it never ends !

his patterns are tried and true, no need to counter develope something that catches tons of steel. get a copy of his dvd and tie up a couple of dozen of his flies, you will never use your old flies again...fish won't let you
