BC Okanagon Area
      #211637 - 10/22/05 06:47 PM

Hi all. I am just recently the proud new owner of a newly buiil 1000 sq ft cabin that sits on a hill top with an awesome view of Curlew Lake. Looking over the map I see I am only about 25 miles from the border into southern BC. I'm wondering if there is any steelhead or salmon fishing in the Okanagon area of BC? Anyone out there with info that can help me out.....thanks.

Sounds like a tough postion to be in

The first thing that comes to mind is Kamloops trout. We go up every year for the trout fishing. Here are few links that should help.

Joker, thanks much for the links! Yeah we just blundered into a deal too good to pass up.
I will definately spend some time trout fishing in BC. I kinda knew that was a no brainer, but wasn't sure if there were any steelhead/salmon runs in the area.......
Probably be living there full time in about 4-6 years and want to be ready when the time comes.....
