Since Gooose has been so kind to not lay down the fair weather smack down report, I will do so myself. I seem to have a weather net behind me, taking the rain to the Eastside a couple days before, and finding no pheasants, and brought the sunshine back for (not zero) but few ducks.
We got shat on a few times (new term learned, thanks Gooose), and one hen "Buffalo", but mostly blue bird skies. Day started out promising, some wind (ok...a shy breeze), some fog and dropping temps, but soon gave way to sunny skies. No rats this time for  , and he seemed a little neglected the rest of the day with no ducks to fetch. Did freshen' up the blind a bit, more like home now.
On the good side, my first dozen dekes work (they float!). And as I figure, we can only improve. Thanks to Gooose for given a green Eastsider a chance, maybe if I change hats the weather will cooperate...
