Took the pup pheasant hunting, and there were tons of ducks working the shoreline we were stomping, so it turned into a pass shoot for quackers.
I ended up going 4 for 5 (2 mallard drakes and 2 widgeon drakes). Brother in law went 2 for 2 (a mallard and a widgeon). Dog did a nice job on her first ducks with the last retrieve at about 35 yards in pretty big waves. I'm proud of her, and how well she hunted. Here is the after hunt photo...

Thanks guys. Nice to get my dog a bunch of work for a change. She is getting tired of the long hikes with very little shooting. Hopefully next weekend the fun continues.
