Well, "Plan A" to take the motor home over to Brookings for
      #219258 - 11/28/05 04:28 PM

the month of December is 'put off' for the moment.

Pulled the MH yesterday early PM to get it gassed and good to go this morning. Wake up to screaming winds and driving rain. Zero clue where the 'weather guy/gal' gets there information about light winds and showers.

HA!! It's blowing (since before day break) 20-25 knots out side with gusts into the 30's. Rain is level with the street! Poop!

Too bad, Fred! Hope it gets back to normal for you soon. We ALL need some "R&R" (Better yet, "I&I".) If you don't know what that is, contact me via e-mail.

Just got a bit more interesting: Major winter storm warnings now for I -5 south of me down about 100 miles into California.

Not as bad as a lot of places, but I-5 is THE route from the Canadian boarder all the way to Mexico.

Well its cold and windy in The Windy city, light snow flurries but no accumulation, looks like we are into the cold stuff for good now though. 20s and 30s rest of the week.

Winter steelheading time !

we had 14" of snow in northern michigan 2 weeks ago, kind of neat watching a steelhead cartwheel at the end of your line during a full blown snow storm

Other than a bit breezie, yesterday was fine around here .. until about 6 pm .. and then the next storm hit the fan. I sit right at the bottom of the first pass on I-5; trucks appear to already be pulled over for at least a 5 mile stretch.

3:24 am now and the house is actually rattling from the driving rain/wind. Suspect 'the pass'above me must be a total bitch!
