I've been shooting those Winchester shells this year. I've been shooting 3" from #4 to BB shot. So far I dig em well enough. The BB has been knocking down the most birds for me though.

I shoot Fast Steel because I bought two cases a few years back. I will shoot anything, as long as it is fast (1400 fps+) and has the right shot size.

You shouldn't really notice the recoil when you're shooting at ducks and geese, at least I don't. Then again, I'm 6'0" and 200lbs. Might be a bit different if I was smaller. Just concentrate on the bird and follow through.

Kent Fasteel are good cheap shells. So are Remington and Winchester. My guns don't shoot Federal's very well. As I've stated before, pattern your gun! It's important to know if the shell you bought have holes in the pattern. Federals in my 870 have holes as big as a goose at 30 yards. I can show you the paper...

I don't duck hunt anymore and have some Win Supreme 3 1/2 #3 for sale. I had them in the classified's for a while. There's 6 1/2 boxes for $80.
