Well, might as well tie some flys ... new

STILL blowing like heck out side//rain coming down in buckets. Suspect all the coastal river are blowen out, or soon will be.

Rogue at Medford is probably running at least 5000 cfs.

Fred
Throw another log on the fire, start a pot of chili or stew, and start tying all the gear you can for when it finally does let up. Hopefully the rains will fill the rivers with tons of winter steel in your favorite shades of chrome, and green w/ red stripes.

Fred
the Coos system is not blown out, I'm looking out my window as I type and have no rain/wind with about 3' visibility.
caught my first winter run of the year yesterday and am hitting the river again today, it's still 3-4 weeks 'till it really kicks into gear here, hope the weather cooperates for you soon.

sccs, 'hurt me, beat me!' Lucky devil; even the upper Rogues (save for the part right below the dam) is a wash out is you're not using regular drift gear (and 2oz of lead!)

Tony, if I chucked a log in the fire place USAA would want my head in a bucket ... gas one only. If you can believe it (and been this way for many years) Ashland, Oregon's building code does not allow for wood burning stoves/fire places/etc.

By the way the actual code is written BBQ's are in violation (NO Kidding!!)

Nope, just straight flys. That said, SH69 (aka Jerry D) does a hell of a good job and I know he does them to order. PM/e mail him direct. As he's back working with UPS (driver) I suspect that it may be a bit before he could turn out more than a few.

One other fellow to check with is BG; I know he does them in fairly large numbers ... but not as a 'for profit' thing. Have a few (left) and rather well done. (Saying that "in public" may be a BIG mistake. )
