Manchester fossils
      #222732 - 12/13/05 12:51 PM

these are some fossils I found in manchester the other day. also found a good patch of black sand from one of those rare occurences of just the right tidal wash. It was full of little garnets too. I scooped a bunch up and put it in my pack to pan through later for GOLD! Old timers used to call it a Gold tide.

Sure enough it is hard work. Funny how I could spend a 12 hour day picking a ton or more of rock for free and enjoy it then dread having to go to my actual paying job.
aquired this nice blister yesterday at clallam again. Found many more cool fossils two of which are rare finds including a cephalopod and a piece of bone. Also found out that what I thought were crab claws were not from crabs but from a type of mud shrimp. I found a tail in a concretion I broke yesterday. Ill be postin some more pics soon.
