Worked with Jim to complete my first Brook trout skin mount.
doing the spots and lines with the airbrush were not as tough as I thought they would be. Just got to make sure the paint is mixed well and the airbrush is clean.

Wow Jason, great work. I have always admired the beauty of the brookies. If there ever was a fish I'd want mounted and on my wall, this species would certainly be at the top of the list.  
How big was this one, and can you say where it was caught? I'd like to get back to Henrys Lake some time [near West Yellowstone] and see if I can bring in one of their trophy size brookies.

Thanks BTF This fish was 17.5 and caught somewhere in Montana by a customer.

very nice. caught hundreds of them in streams back in wisconsin as a kid and young man, but mostly under 8 inches. but fought like true champions.
